killer date 3

so i haven't made it past 3 dates with any of these guys yet. and now we are approaching date 3 with shifty. he wants to see pan's labyrinth, which i'm quite keen to see as well. we meet at a coffee shop beforehand, and he actually offers to pick up the tab this time! not sure why there has been a change of heart, but he continues on to pay for the snacks and the movie. since i just bought a condo and i can see poverty in my near future, i'm certainly not going to stop him.

the movie is fantastic, the conversation before and after is still good, but i'm in that familiar place of "do i actually like this guy?". i guess i'm interested enough to see how this plays out, but i just wish there were some initial chemistry with some of these guys. ugh.

his latest email is that he wants to go on a "real live actual date" and he jokes about romantic undertones. i certainly hope i know if i'm interested after date #4.
